STT Johor is planned to have up to 166 megawatts (MW) of IT load capacity and will support cloud, artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing and other digital workloads.\nUnited Overseas Bank (Malaysia) is the sole coordinator for the financing, alongside OCBC Bank (Malaysia), Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia and CIMB Bank as mandated lead arrangers.\n\"This financing is an important milestone in STT GDC's continued investment in Malaysia and reflects strong confidence from our banking partners in STT Johor and the long-term fundamentals of the digital infrastructure sector. PUE measures how much electricity a data centre uses relative to the power consumed by its computing equipment.\nWater usage effectiveness improved by 41.2% over the same period.\nThe Johor campus is also intended to support the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), which aims to deepen economic links between Johor and Singapore.\n\"STT Johor is a flagship investment that reflects our long-term commitment to Malaysia and our confidence in Johor's role as a strategic digital infrastructure hub.
