No interim dividend was declared.\nGross profit rose 227% y-o-y to $10.1 million, outpacing growth in cost of sales which rose 133% y-o-y to $20.6 million. The stronger performance was attributed to higher revenue from the transmission and distribution (T&D) and maintenance and services (M&S) segments.\nSegmentally, the T&D segment recorded half-year revenue of $20.8 million, up 156% y-o-y. This was mainly due to revenue recognised from new T&D projects that commenced during 1HFY2026 as well as from projects that commenced in late FY2025 and progressed substantially during 1HFY2026.  \nMeanwhile, the M&S segment saw its revenue grow nearly 160% y-o-y to $9.9 million due to the commencement of a new project during 1HFY2026 and an increase of approximately $2.0 million from the provision of ad-hoc services during the six months under review. \nAs at June 30, cash and bank balances stood at $27.1 million and the company had zero bank borrowings. Net asset value is 25.08 cents.\nAs of Aug 13, EGP Energy's order book stood at $296.2 million, with projects are slated for progressive completion through 2031, providing revenue visibility. \nThe company is \"optimistic\" about its business prospects over the next 12 months.
