Shanghai International Airport (SHA:600009) posted higher passenger throughput at the Pudong and Hongqiao airports in July, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Passenger throughput at the Pudong airport rose 7.9% year over year to 8.1 million, while cargo throughput jumped 15% to 406,800 tons and the number of flights increased 5.4% year over year to 51,280.
Meanwhile, passenger throughput at the Hongqiao airport inched 4.9% higher to more than 4.4 million, while cargo throughput slipped 0.9% to 35,200 tons, and aircraft movements rose 2.9% to 24,530.
