Rox Resources Identifies High-Grade Gold Mineralization in Western Australia Project

MT Newswires Live08-17

Rox Resources (ASX:RXL) identified high-grade gold mineralization during recent drilling at its Youanmi Gold Mine in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The results were up to 10.4 meters at 2.65 grams per tonne gold from 113.83 meters, including 4.37 meters at 4.96 grams per tonne gold from 119.86 meters.

Ore drive development extends beyond the definitive feasibility study (DFS) mine plan, and results reinforce that mineralization extends beyond what is outlined in the DFS, the filing added.

Youanmi Deeps resource conversion and exploration drilling remains on track to begin in the third quarter of the year. At the same time, a Pacific Energy contract has been signed to develop a thermal, solar and battery facility to power Youanmi, it added.
