Ideaya Biosciences (IDYA) said Wednesday that it has entered into a clinical collaboration with Genentech to evaluate a combination therapy for pancreatic cancer.
Genentech will fund an early-stage trial of Ideaya's IDE892 alongside its GDC-7035 drug in patients with specific genetic mutations, the company said.
Ideaya will supply its experimental treatment for the study while both companies retain full commercial rights to their respective compounds, Ideaya said.
The trial will focus on pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, which has both an MTAP deletion and the genetic mutation, Ideaya said.
