Aurum Resources Confirms Gold Mineralization Beyond Current Mineral Resource at Ivory Coast Project; Shares Up 4%

Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) confirmed gold mineralization outside the current mineral resource at BST1 and BST2 prospects within its Boundiali project in the Ivory Coast, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Latest intercepts from ongoing diamond drilling include 3 meters at 80 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 66 meters, including 2 meters at nearly 118 g/t grade of gold, and 3 meters at almost 28 g/t grade of gold from 144 meters, including 1 meter at 78 g/t grade of gold, the filing said.

Sixteen diamond drill rigs are on site to drive resource growth at the project, with the next mineral resource estimate update slated for the end of the third quarter, per the filing.

Shares rose 4% in midday trade Monday.
