Stocks to Watch: Oracle, SK Hynix, Moderna, Unitree

Oracle $(ORCL)$: Shares fell premarket. The Journal reported that OpenAI's revenue growth was outpaced by Anthropic in the second quarter, while its losses deepened. Oracle's performance hinges on OpenAI's ability to make good on its massive commitments.

SK Hynix (SKHY, KR:000660): The chip giant announced plans for a $28 billion buyback. Its U.S.-listed shares jumped in premarket trading. Earlier, its Korean shares closed nearly 10% lower amid a selloff in Asia.

Moderna (MRNA), Merck $(MRK)$: The companies' experimental vaccine succeeded in preventing melanoma from returning in a study; Moderna stock surged more than 50% premarket, while Merck jumped about 7%.

Yushu Technology (CN:688836): Shares in the Chinese humanoid robot maker, known as Unitree, surged more than fivefold in their trading debut in Shanghai.

Estee Lauder $(EL)$: Shares jumped ahead of the bell after the beauty company reported a narrowed loss and higher sales.

Carlsberg (DK:CARLB): The brewer lifted the lower end of its full-year guidance but said beer volumes fell. Its shares fell in Denmark.

La-Z-Boy $(LZB)$: Shares slumped 19% in premarket trading after the furniture maker swung to a loss in its fiscal first quarter from an unexpected decline in sales.
