Jefferies Financial's (JEF) indirect unit Jefferies Credit Partners is looking to raise about 1 billion euros ($1.17 billion) from investors who trade private credit in the secondary market, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Jefferies Credit Partners will use the fund to get loans from its current portfolio and deliver fresh capital for new lending, the people reportedly said.
The Jefferies Credit Partners fund will comprise about 500 million euros of equity and 500 million euros of leverage, the people further said, Bloomberg reported.
