John Wiley & Sons (WLY) launched its first spectral analysis API portfolio, enabling labs, instrument vendors and software platforms to integrate its spectral data and analytical tools into their workflows, the company said Wednesday.
The portfolio includes APIs for spectral searches, structure validation, compound classification and spectra prediction to accelerate the identification and verification of unknown compounds, Wiley said.
The company said the APIs aim to reduce manual work, speed up analysis and support applications across multiple industries.
Wiley also said the APIs provide a vendor-neutral foundation supporting multi-technique workflows, regulatory compliance and cross-platform interoperability.
