Boeing (BA) and Lockheed Martin's (LMT) joint venture United Launch Alliance is wrapping up a $1.5 billion private bond deal, tripling its original $500 million target, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The report said United Launch Alliance offered four debt portions with maturities ranging from three to 10 years.

The company provides rocket launch services to the US military and commercial customers, including Amazon (AMZN), Bloomberg said.

Boeing and Lockheed Martin did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
