BeOne Medicines, Foundations Renew Deal to Deliver Cancer Medicine to Poor Countries

BeOne Medicines (ONC), the BeOne Care Foundation, and The Max Foundation have renewed their partnership through 2028 to expand access to Brukinsa for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia in low- and middle-income countries, the organizations said Tuesday.

The program is planned to support around 1,000 patients, they said.

The program has given access to the drug to 300 patients in Armenia, Ethiopia, and Nepal, they said.

The partnership combines Max Foundation's expertise in overseeing oncology access programs with donated Brukinsa and includes a $1 million grant from the BeOne Care Foundation, the organizations said.

Shares of the company were up 1.2% in recent premarket trading.
