President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he has paused the 50% tariffs against Canada, which were scheduled to take effect on Tuesday morning, for a three-day period. The decision follows what Trump described as a finalized deal between the United States and Canada, subject to the completion of documents. In his statement, Trump also highlighted the potential revival of the Keystone XL Pipeline, saying, "The great Keystone XL Pipeline, long ago killed by Sleepy Joe Biden, may be awoken from the grave!" The pipeline, which was previously blocked by the Biden administration, could be restarted under the new agreement. Trump thanked the public for their attention to the matter, signing off as "President Donald J. Trump."
