Stocks to Watch: Alibaba, Marvell Technology, Coinbase

Alibaba (HK:9988, BABA): The Chinese tech giant launched a $10.2 billion share sale at a sharp discount to invest in AI. Its stock fell more than 8% in Hong Kong.

Samsung Electronics (KR:005930): Shares tumbled more than 8% in South Korea. The chip maker approved a shareholder return plan of up to some $79 billion, but it fell short of market expectations.

SoftBank (JP:9984): The Japanese technology conglomerate plans to issue a record volume of retail bonds to partly fund its expanding AI investments. Shares retreated more than 5% in Tokyo.

Marvell Technology $(MRVL)$, Micron Technology $(MU)$, Intel $(INTC)$: Shares of semiconductor companies lost ground in premarket trading.

Coinbase Global (COIN), Robinhood Markets (HOOD), Strategy (MSTR): Shares of companies tied to cryptocurrencies slipped after bitcoin stalled out around $77,000 following last week's rally.
