Nvidia's (NVDA) Blackwell Ultra offers upside to fiscal Q2 and Q3 prints, while next-generation VR200 ramps in the current quarter strengthen H2 momentum, Oppenheimer said in a note Wednesday.

The company is scheduled to report its fiscal Q2 financial results on Aug. 26.

Its Data Center segment is expected to be up 15% quarter-over-quarter, with Compute led by Blackwell Ultra GB300. Vera Rubin VR200 is on track for fiscal Q3 ramp, while Vera Rubin Ultra VR300 is expected to follow in H2 of 2027, according to the note.

Networking is expected to grow 35% quarter-over-quarter, led by NVLink and Spectrum-X/Infiniband, Oppenheimer said, as it forecast the mix to increasingly favor ethernet, driven by cloud service provider demand.

The brokerage models free cash flow of $212 billion this year and $312 billion next year, a stable gross margin through year-end, and $19.6 billion returned to shareholders in fiscal Q2, primarily through share buybacks.

Oppenheimer kept an outperform rating on Nvidia with a price target of $265.

Shares of Nvidia were down 0.5% in Thursday trading.
