Stock futures were rising on Friday as investors got over the worst of their worries about a recent move higher in bond yields.
Crypto exchange Coinbase rose 5.6%, online trading platform Robinhood advanced 5.3%, and Bitcoin investor Strategy gained 10% ahead of the opening bell. The crypto stocks have surged this week thanks to President Donald Trump calling for Congress to pass the Clarity Act.
Ross Stores was the S&P 500's best performer in premarket trading, jumping 8.5% after the off-price retailer beat analysts' second-quarter earnings target and raised its full-year guidance.
Moderna climbed 4%. Shares of the pharma company slumped 24% on Thursday as they gave up some of their triple-digit gains from the previous session, which came after Moderna reported positive trial results for a personalized cancer vaccine co-developed with Merck.
