It shares its name with a 1,243.72 sqm air-conditioned food court that reportedly seats 750 diners.\nAccording to an email from JTC sighted by City & Country, JTC has \"commenced active marketing of the premises\" and is engaging prospective operators to identify a \"suitable replacement\". \n\nHowever, the selection and onboarding process \"requires careful evaluation\", reads the email to workers, and JTC says it will welcome a new operator \"as soon as practicable over the coming months\". \nSouth Indian restaurant KJM Curry House & Restaurant and alfresco restaurant Oasis Cafe remain open at 3 Sakra Road.\nCity & Country understands JTC has appointed ETC and CBRE to market the food court, which is available for lease from Sept 1. \nAccording to a JTC spokesperson, the three-year tenure comes with a built-in renewal option, subject to approval. The incoming operator will determine the final configuration of the food court's 13 stalls.\nOnly four stalls were operating prior to the food court's closure, inclusive of a drink stall, City & Country understands.\n\nThere are no details as yet on the asking rent or mechanical and electrical (M&E) provisions, according to ETC. \nOpened in 2000, Jurong Island is home to Singapore's energy and chemicals industry.
