Stocks to Watch: Gap, Solstice Advanced Materials, Marvell Technology, Affirm, SentinelOne

Gap appointed retail veteran Michael Francis to lead its Old Navy brand, despite reporting a sales decline in its most recent quarter. The stock rallied 15%, to $23.85, in after-hours trading on Thursday.

Solstice Advanced Materials and Element Solutions called off a merger, citing conversations with shareholders who were skeptical of a combination. Solstice shares rose 12%, to $63.00 after the bell, while Element shares were up 0.8%, at $36.80.

Marvell Technology lifted its guidance for the current and upcoming fiscal years, citing robust artificial-intelligence demand. The stock fell 6.6%, to $225.50.

Affirm Holdings reported higher fourth-quarter sales, driven by a greater volume of transactions. Shares gained 8.9%, to $84.35.

SentinelOne reported higher second-quarter revenue and lifted its revenue guidance for the year, citing strong cybersecurity demand. Shares fell 4.1%, to $21.79.
