Contemporary Amperex Technology or CATL (SHE:300750, HKG:3750) raised 7 billion yuan via the issue of green technology innovation bonds.
The offering comprised 5.8 billion yuan of Three-plus-two-year notes with a coupon rate of 1.50% and 1.2 billion yuan of five-year notes at 1.55%, according to a Thursday aftermarket filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Bank of China serves as lead underwriter. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Huaxia Bank and China Everbright Bank serve as joint lead underwriters.
Shares of the battery maker declined 1% in recent trade on the Shenzhen bourse and rose 1% in Hong Kong.
