Gateway Mining Intersects Gold Anomaly at Western Australia Project

Gateway Mining (ASX:GML) intersected a gold anomaly extending for more than seven kilometers of strike during air-core drilling at the Ward prospect, within its Yandal project in Western Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results from multiple sites along the trend include four meters at 4 grams per tonne grade of gold from 88 meters, four meters at 3.7 g/t grade of gold from 96 meters, and four meters at 3.2 g/t grade of gold from 60 meters, the filing said.

Meanwhile, reverse circulation drilling continues at the Cowza gold system, with initial results from the current program expected shortly, per the filing.

Shares rose 1% in midday trade Friday.
