BeOne Medicines (ONC) said Monday that Ziihera plus chemotherapy showed statistically significant and clinically meaningful overall survival benefit in a phase 3 trial for HER2-positive gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma.
The trial met the remaining primary endpoint, with the combination regimen improving overall survival compared with trastuzumab plus chemotherapy, the company said.
The analysis also showed longer-term results for Ziihera with Tevimbra and chemotherapy, including an improved overall survival hazard ratio and durable outcomes, and a manageable safety profile, it said.
Shares of BeOne Medicines were 1.8% lower in Monday premarket activity.
