Tesla Unveils Simpler, Cheaper Version of Model 3 in Hong Kong, Macau

Tesla (TSLA) is selling a simplified version of Model 3 at a lower price in Hong Kong and Macau than in mainland China, according to media reports and the company's regional websites.

The company is retailing Model 3 at 205,000 Hong Kong dollars ($26,151.99), according to its Hong Kong website. Meanwhile, in Macau, it is selling Model 3 at 252,000 macau pataca ($31,061.85). Those compare with Model 3 being advertised at 235,500 Chinese renminbi ($35,009.48) in mainland China.

According to media reports, Tesla has launched a simplified and cheaper version of the Model 3 sedan in Hong Kong and Macau, which differ in ambient lighting, interior textile fabrics and wheel rims.
