Okta Seen Well-Positioned for Cybersecurity Spending Cycle

1735 ET - Okta's strong second-quarter results and guidance reflect what Jefferies analyst Joseph Gallo sees as enterprises taking a phased approach to updating their cybersecurity for the AI age. Gallo says the success of Okta's identity management offerings for AI agents likely indicates the first step of a broader cybersecurity spending cycle. "We've never put an identity on an agent before," Gallo says in an interview. "So we've long viewed identity as the first area of inflection." The company is "extremely well-positioned," he adds.
