To protect its capital from the weakening yen, the company began buying altcoins and made a bet on XRP, accumulating a large position of around 1.2 million tokens while also adding Solana and Dogecoin to its balance sheet. Internal financial models projected revenue from the crypto segment of up to ¥12.44 billion.However, management's approach changed over the summer. After assessing market risks and the volatility of altcoins, the company's leadership decided to adopt a \"selection and concentration\" strategy.
