JX Advanced Metals, Kokusai Electric, and Capcom to Join Nikkei 225 Effective October

Chip materials supplier JX Advanced Metals (TYO:5016), semiconductor gear maker Kokusai Electric (TYO:6525), and video game developer Capcom (TYO:9697) are set to join Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average from Oct. 1.

JX Advanced Metals and Kokusai Electric were selected for high liquidity, while Capcom was added to adjust sector balance, according to Nikkei Inc's statement on Friday.

Meanwhile, Konica Minolta (TYO:4902), Archion Corp. (TYO:543A), and Kanadevia (TYO:7004) will be deleted.
