0253 GMT - The Singapore dollar is steady against its U.S. counterpart in the Asian session, supported by reduced Fed rate-hike expectations. "Fed Governor Waller signaled support for holding rates this month if disinflation continues, prompting markets to pare" expectations for a Fed rate increase in September, analysts at CIMB's treasury and markets research say in a report. Regional currencies have rallied broadly on the dollar's weakness, the analysts add. The U.S. dollar is little changed at 1.2666 Singapore dollars, LSEG data show.
