Kantra Copper (ASX:KAN) extended high-grade copper-gold mineralization at its Spitfire lode within the Kanmantoo copper mine in South Australia through a 10-hole underground diamond drilling program, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling returned 30 meters at 1.3% copper and 0.17 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 110 meters downhole, 22 meters at 1% copper and 0.04 g/t grade of gold from 273 meters, and 18 meters at 0.7% copper and 0.03 g/t grade of gold from 236 meters, the filing said.
The results will be incorporated into this year's mineral resource estimate, slated for release in the December quarter, per the filing.
