Scorpio Tankers Enters Time Charter Agreements for Three Product Tankers

Scorpio Tankers (STNG) has entered into time charter agreements for three product tankers, the company said Thursday.

The agreements cover STI Gladiator and STI Jermyn for three years at $40,188 per day and $42,500 per day, respectively, with both charters expected to begin in September, Scorpio Tankers said.

Additionally, the company chartered STI Pontiac for a term of three years at $23,900 per day, with the charter expected to commence in Q4, the company said.

The company also reported preliminary third-quarter average daily time charter equivalent rates of $64,900 for LR2 vessels, $30,000 for MR vessels and $25,500 for Handymax vessels in the pool and spot market.
