US, China Set to Announce Agriculture Deals During Xi's Washington Visit, Greer Says

The United States and China are set to make some announcements on agriculture and non-tariff barriers during a visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping to Washington this month, US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said, Reuters reported Thursday, citing an interview with Fox News' "Special Report with Bret Baier."

"We're not looking for a giant comprehensive trade agreement with China. We're looking to manage this relationship," Greer said, according to the report.

"When President Xi comes, we expect that we will probably have some more announcements on agriculture and non-tariff barriers related to agriculture to incentivize American sales into China," he said, Reuters reported.
