Shanghai Pharmaceuticals (SHA:601607, HKG:2607) subsidiary Changzhou Pharmaceutical Factory received drug registration certificates from China's National Medical Products Administration for its ruxolitinib phosphate tablets, according to a Tuesday disclosure to the Shanghai bourse.
The drug is indicated for myelofibrosis, a form of blood cancer, and graft-versus-host disease in patients aged 12 years and older with inadequate response to glucocorticoids or other systemic therapies, the filing said.
The drug company's shares rose nearly 2% in Hong Kong during the midday break on Tuesday.
