Nasdaq (NDAQ) US equity options volume rose to 363 million contracts in August from 323 million a year earlier, while US matched equity volume rose to 50.0 billion shares from 49.1 billion, according to the company's monthly volume report.
European options and futures volume was 3.8 million contracts, unchanged from a year earlier, while European equity volume rose to $81.7 billion from $66.8 billion.
