Racura Oncology (ASX:RAC) said Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital in South Korea was activated as the first site in the country added to the Cardioprotection and Anticancer Synergy phase one trial of its RC220 drug candidate in combination with doxorubicin in patients with advanced solid tumors, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The second and third South Korean sites, Severance Hospital and Samsung Medical Center, are set to be activated and opened for patient enrolment on Sept. 4 and Sept. 8, respectively. The final site, Asan Medical Center, has received all regulatory and governance approvals, with site activation awaiting execution of the study contract.
Pre-screening of patients began at Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital and Severance Hospital.
