Bloom Energy (BE), Everpure (P) and Illumina (ILMN) will join the S&P 500, effective before the open on Sept. 21, as part of its quarterly rebalance, S&P Dow Jones Indices said Friday.
They will replace Molson Coors Beverage (TAP), The Trade Desk (TTD) and Builders FirstSource (BLDR), respectively, it said. The changes are intended to keep the index representative of its large-cap market segment, it added.
The company said Dell (DELL), Palo Alto Networks (PANW), Arista Networks (ANET) and Sandisk (SNDK) will join the S&P 100, effective Sept. 21.
Bloom Energy gained more than 5%, Everpure added over 3% and Illumina gained less than 1% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
