BYD (HKG:1211, SHE:002594) raised its 2026 overseas sales target to 1.9 million to 2 million vehicles from 1.5 million previously and aims to sell more than 2.5 million vehicles overseas in 2027, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing a Deutsche Bank Research note based on an investor briefing Monday.
The automaker's overseas sales are expected to generate about 20,000 yuan in profit per vehicle, the report noted.
