SEM Chief Executive Resigns; New CEO, CFO Named

SEM (HKG:9929) executive director and chief executive officer, Wan Man Keung, has resigned, effective Monday, to devote more time to personal work arrangements, according to a same-day Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of the company went up over 1% in Tuesday's morning trade.

Bian Dayun has been named as the new CEO, while Liang Meifeng has been appointed as chief financial officer, both effective Monday.

Bian has more than 10 years of experience in corporate governance, strategic development, and investment management. He previously worked at PwC Zhong Tian and Xintian Capital, and later served as a director and company secretary of Shanghai Yaoji Technology.

Liang previously worked at Deloitte and China Minsheng Investment Group, and served as a director and CFO of Shanghai Yaoji Technology (SHE:002605) from 2020 to 2025.
