These Analysts Slash Their Forecasts On Cooper Companies Following Q3 Results

Cooper Companies Inc (NASDAQ:COO) on Wednesday reported mixed third-quarter financial results and cut its FY26 guidance below estimates.

Cooper Companies reported quarterly earnings of $1.15 per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.12 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.066 billion, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $1.098 billion.

Cooper Companies expects fourth-quarter revenue of $1.057 billion to $1.080 billion and non-GAAP diluted EPS of $1.05 to $1.09. For full fiscal 2026, the company expects revenue of $4.229 billion to $4.252 billion and non-GAAP diluted EPS of $4.51 to $4.55.

“This quarter included a number of notable developments including earnings exceeding expectations, record free cash flow, solid fertility growth at CooperSurgical, and a favorable completion of a significant tax matter. At CooperVision, however, we reduced U.S. channel inventory that weighed on our results and will continue to impact Q4,” said Al White, President and CEO of CooperCompanies. “Following the completion of the strategic review, we are focused on profitable growth, strong cash flow generation, disciplined capital allocation, and maximizing long-term shareholder value.”

Cooper Companies shares dipped 16.8% to $52.83 in pre-market trading.

These analysts made changes to their price targets on Cooper Companies following earnings announcement.

  • Needham analyst David Saxon maintained the stock with a Buy and lowered the price target from $86 to $73.
  • Baird analyst Jeff Johnson downgraded the stock from Outperform to Neutral and cut the price target from $85 to $61.
  • B of A Securities analyst Craig Bijou downgraded the stock from Buy to Neutral and slashed the price target from $80 to $65.
