SoftBank (TYO:9434) said it will enter into a strategic partnership with WiseVine to improve the efficiency of local government operations and address the shortage of personnel, according to a Tuesday release.

The Japan-based technology company said that the partnership will initially provide up to 100 local governments with five years of free use of WiseVine's 'Build & Scrap' management system starting at the end of fiscal year 2027.

The system helps manage key decision-making processes, including planning, assessment, execution, and evaluation in local government budget formulation.
