Ecopetrol (EC) has appointed Alfonso Camilo Barco Munoz as acting chief executive officer effective Sept. 15, succeeding Juan Carlos Hurtado Parra, the company said Tuesday.
Barco Munoz currently serves as corporate vice president of finance and sustainable value and as an alternate legal representative of Ecopetrol, the company added.
