Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic has informed investors it will be profitable for the second consecutive quarter, the Financial Times reported late Sunday, citing multiple people with knowledge of the matter.
The AI company's gross margins are more than 80% before factoring in revenue shared with distribution partners and the cost of training its models, two of the people said.
Anthropic expects adjusted operating income to remain positive, excluding costs such as stock-based compensation, according to the report.
Anthropic did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
