Corning (GLW) said late Friday it has entered into an equity distribution agreement with Goldman Sachs to sell up to $2 billion of its shares from time to time.

Shares slumped 12%, with intraday trading volume of over 12.3 million versus a daily average of about 13.2 million.

Cellectis (CLLS) said its board has approved a strategic transformation to become an in vivo gene editing company focused on developing treatments for chronic diseases.

Shares slumped 40% as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 919,000 from a daily average of about 21,000.

Skyworks Solutions (SWKS) said late Friday it has extended the expiration date of its exchange offers for Qorvo's senior notes due 2029 and 2031 to Sept. 18 from Sept. 11.

Shares fell over 7% as intraday trading volume grew to more than 7.2 million from a daily average of about 5.9 million.
