U.S. President Donald Trump on September 15 posted on social media platform X, sharply criticizing recent rulings by the U.S. Supreme Court, claiming they caused "incalculable damage" to the Republican Party, the nation itself, and national security.
Trump accused the court of taking "forever" to address mail-in voting issues, calling it a "totally CORRUPT" and "disaster" that is a "laughing stock all over the World." He also faulted rulings on tariffs, asserting they would cost the U.S. "Trillions and Trillions of Dollars" for years to come. Regarding birthright citizenship, he claimed the decision "has already led to massive corruption with respect to 'citizenship' in our Country."
Trump singled out most justices, alleging they are "bullied and cajoled by the Radical Left" and unable to show "the courage necessary to save our America." He praised Justices Alito and Thomas for dissenting and stated the court's decisions "have set America back at least a hundred years." Trump emphasized his obligation as President to criticize the court, which he called "destroying our country."
