General Motors (GM) said Tuesday it is launching a new user interface for pickup trucks featuring a new home screen, intuitive layouts, and 3D driving visualizations.
The features will be first available on light-duty pickup trucks like the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado and 2027 GMC Sierra, and will eventually expand across its broader portfolio, General Motors said.
General Motors said that drivers will have access to infotainment services like Amazon Music, AMC+, DIRECTV, Disney+, along with Google Gemini, Google Maps, and other apps on Google Play.
The auto manufacturer said the digital display will automatically adjust to show information relevant to towing, off-road driving and Super Cruise, its hands-free driving-assistance technology.
The interface will also work with the latest versions of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, with GM planning to deliver additional features and system enhancements through wireless software updates, the company said.
