Huadian New Energy (SHA:600930) issued 1.50 billion yuan worth of medium-term bonds, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.
The bonds have an interest rate of 1.70% and a term of five years, maturing Sept. 16, 2031.
China Construction Bank (HKG:0939, SHA:601939) acted as the bookrunner and lead underwriter of the issuance.
The Chinese energy company's shares rose 2% in morning trading.
