Shares of Paradium.AI fell sharply after surging Thursday on a 10-year strategic partnership with digital-publishing platform Roundtable.
Paradium stock dropped 49%, to $1.69, Friday morning, down from Thursday's close of $3.34 after nearly tripling during the day's session. Trading in the stock been halted numerous times Friday amid volatile trading.
The two companies Thursday announced a $1 billion operating agreement, where Roundtable would take over Paradium's product, engineering, and monetization operations.
In return for its technology-assets licenses, Paradium would receive shares of Roundtable.
Roundtable estimates a $100 million annualized revenue and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization run rate on a standalone basis.
Separately, Roundtable said it would buy a 49.5% equity stake from a large investor, Simplify Inventions.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
Roundtable shares are down 10%, to $7.80.
