Hong Kong's Export Volume Rises 31.6%, Imports Up 23.6%

The volume of Hong Kong's total exports of goods increased 31.6% year over year in July, according to final data from the Census and Statistics Department released on Thursday.

The volume of imports of goods rose 23.6% in the period.

As export prices increased 13.7% and import prices grew 13.6% from the previous year, the terms of trade index, or the ratio of the export price index to the import price index, ticked up 0.1% in July.
