KYM Unit to Acquire 70% Stake in Regen Healthcare for Up to MYR33.5 Million

KYM (KLSE:KYM) unit KYM Healthcare signed a conditional deal to acquire a 70% stake in Regen Healthcare for up to 33.5 million ringgit in cash.

Following completion, Regen will become a 70%-owned subsidiary of KYM, while the vendor, Associate Prof. Dr. Rajesh Singh will retain the remaining 30% stake.

KYM also plans to diversify its principal activities to include healthcare activities and specialised medical services.

The deal is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.

The company will finance the consideration through a combination of internally generated funds and/or bank borrowings, it said.
