BCE Price Target Raised to CA$43 at Desjardins

Desjardins raised its price target on BCE Inc. (BCE.TO, BCE) to CA$43 from CA$41 on Thursday.

Analyst Jerome Dubreuil maintained a buy rating on shares of the Canadian media and telecom company.

"In our view, the lack of a guidance increase on the back of the company's 900MW MoU announcement this week does not mean that the probability/time-weighted impact of the deal is neutral," Dubreuil said in a note to clients.

"However, the stock is down 3% since the announcement, which we believe creates a compelling buying opportunity."
