Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI has hired Brian McCarthy as its new global sales chief and added two veteran sales executives from Snowflake (SNOW), The Information reported Friday, citing the companies.
McCarthy previously worked at SpaceX's (SPCX) Cursor unit, the report said.
Meanwhile, Snowflake told employees Thursday that Mark Fleming, senior vice president of sales for its Americas Enterprise unit, and Jaime Patel, vice president of sales engineering for North America Enterprise, are departing for OpenAI, the report said, citing an email.
OpenAI and Snowflake did not immediately respond to MT Newswires requests for comment.
