CF PharmTech (HKG:2652) has enrolled and dosed the first healthy subject in the Phase I clinical trial of ICF004, an inhaled drug being developed to treat interstitial lung disease.
The Phase I trial will assess the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of single and multiple doses in healthy subjects in China, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.
ICF004 is designed to deliver the drug directly to the lungs to increase local exposure while reducing systemic exposure.
