Meta (META) said Tuesday it has collaborated with the Singapore Police Force to take action against more than 3.7 million accounts, pages and content related to fraud and scams on its platforms.
Over the past two years, under an information-sharing partnership, Meta's investigators have used information provided by the Singapore Police Force to "identify and dismantle entire ecosystems of scammers," the company said in a statement.
The social media giant said it continues to invest in developing defenses across its services and has so far this year removed 65 million scam ads from Facebook and Instagram.
