Well-known Wall Street investment banksJeffreyJefferies released a new research report, significantly raising its price target for tech giant Meta Platforms from $710 to $875 and maintaining its "buy" rating on the stock.
"Muse is out of the box," Jefferies analyst Brent Thill wrote in a commentary published on Tuesday, referring to the new AI agent of the same name launched by Facebook's parent company. He believes that Muse possesses all the characteristics of a "killer app," and its consumer acceptance has reached an unprecedented level, significantly higher than Anthropic's Claude or...GoogleGemini also has enormous commercial potential.
As of the latest close, Meta's stock price surged 11.43% to $741.25 in a single day. Based on the latest closing price, Jefferies' new target price means the stock still has approximately 18% potential upside.
